Stucco profiles without aftercare costs: For indoor and outdoor use

Plaster profiles are used both indoors and outdoors to protect corners and reduce cracking. They also contribute to aesthetically pleasing, tight corners and allow the desired thickness of plaster to be achieved. A seemingly simple product, but with significant impact on the application process and end result.

Who doesn't know them?

The stucco profiles that deform easily, making it challenging to place them accurately against the corner. Or they are greasy due to the manufacturing process and cause stains after the stucco dries. Not to mention a lack of adhesion. Good and accurate stucco work is very important for the appearance of the home. Defects in the stucco are immediately visible and detract from the experience of the home.

An attractive house naturally also needs accurate plastering. Ripstaal therefore works only with quality stucco profiles

The stucco profiles are installed correctly in one go and are very sturdy, so they do not deform or wobble during installation. As a result, they can be processed quickly and easily. They also do not cause stains or marks as the profiles are free of grease.

Guidelines for profiles Within the finishing sector, especially for plastering work inside or outside, galvanised, stainless steel or plastic plastering profiles have long been used. Because problems frequently arise from the practice of finishing due to the non-, insufficient or incorrect use of plasterer profiles, the Technical Office Finishing (TBA) together with the trade association for finishing has drawn up the TBA Guideline 1.10 'Guideline for the use and installation of profiles in interior and exterior plastering'. This is intended for the use of profiles in plastering indoors and outdoors.

Technical Office Finishing

The TBA Guideline 1.10 aims to ensure that clients, designers, main contractors and plasterers/finishers make the right choice of profiles and processing methods, and also understand the importance of having to dilate building sections and/or different wall/ceiling or façade construction sections. In the guideline, the TBA also recommends - especially for thin plaster - using profiles that are perforated or have improved grip and adhesion. The Ripstaal stucco profile is a good example of this.

TBA The TBA was founded by the Dutch Entrepreneurs Association for Construction Companies (NOA), FNV and CNV Vakmensen with the aim of a well-functioning and reliable industry. The TBA provides independent technical advice and develops standards and guidelines to raise the quality of the finishing industry to a higher level. More information: www.tbafbouw.nl.
