2. Sustainability comes first
Sustainable business is an important topic at Ripstaal Group, which takes shape in various ways. We are committed to the environment.
To deliver top quality our products manufactured only from the very best materials. For example, we use first-class aluzinc strip steel, a high-quality PVC and aluminium in special alloys. The environmental impact of these materials is a constant point of attention for us. Ripstaal Group takes as many environmental-saving measures as possible and naturally complies with all environmental laws and regulations.
Closed waste system
We also try to limit and control environmental impact as a result of our business activities through our closed-loop waste system. This Europe-wide system obliges our suppliers to take back residues of materials they supply. Our customers, in turn, can take back residues of materials delivered by them. Ripstaal Group return delivered products free of charge. We will then ensure correct handling and processing.
Ripstaal uses 100% self-generated green electricity. 1627 solar panels are on the roof generating 480 kWp.
With our solar panels, we avoid releasing 289,719 kg of CO2 into the air every year.

4. Non-stop product innovation
The most important condition for growth of our company is undoubtedly innovation. Managing director Wim van Rijsingen explains:
"Innovation never stops. A great example is the click strip of the KlicK-Board: which was too strong. I flew to Canada for a demonstration for potential customers, but when I wanted to buckle the plates at a ninety-degree angle after landing, the system didn't click. What turned out: on the plane, the plastic had become stiff. 'Wait an hour,' I said. When the material warmed up, it worked perfectly."

"That example then did get us thinking. What happens if it is used in cold weather or even frost? In the end, we added plasticisers to our plastic. It is still just as strong, but several degrees softer and therefore suitable at low temperatures. Thus, through experience, we are constantly working on further improvement and innovation."
"We make the best of the best, we produce at the highest European standards. Of course, we can also source from China. But where should we go if the product rusts? We eliminate that kind of risk by doing everything in-house. The result is that we never get any complaints and we are proud of that."
Ripstaal has greatly expanded its business and product range in recent years. One highlight was the acquisition of a steelframing companyat the end of last year. To further develop as well as continue delivering our trusted quality, we now introduce the Ripstaal Group.

The move towards the Ripstaal Group offers us the opportunity to structure our activities more clearly and to grow further, partly because we can better bundle overarching activities, such as production, financial administration, logistics operation.

5. In-house production
Ripstaal is one of the few parties in Europe to produce the entire range of finishing products (including reveal plasterboards) and metal stucco profiles (including plastic, tile profiles) and in-house. As are the machines used to produce the products, by the way.
